Provide feedback: Mid-year adopted 2018 budget review

The 2017/2018 budget was adopted in October 2016. With the two-year budget, a mid-year budget review is conducted in preparation for the second year’s budget. Through the mid-year review, consideration of minor modifications to the second year’s budget is the focus; it is not a complete redevelopment of the budget. 

City Council refined their Strategic Plan goals in May 2017 based on feedback from the community and staff. As the Strategic Plan drives the budget, staff is currently reviewing the adopted budget to ensure alignment with City Council’s goals with the mid-year budget review.  

A public meeting on the adopted 2018 budget is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, at City Hall, 4800 W. 92nd Ave. A brief presentation on the proposed 2018 budget will be made and the public can share feedback at that time. If you cannot attend this meeting in person, provide your feedback online.

In addition, the public is also welcomed to provide input at any City Council meeting during the citizen comments, traditional mail (City Council, c/o City Manager’s Office, 4800 W. 92nd Ave., Westminster, CO 80031) or telephone 303-658-2006.  

The adopted 2018 budget will be reviewed with City Council at the Sept. 18 Study Session.
