Standley Lake offers many opportunities for wildlife viewing, picnics, fishing, hiking, walking, running and cycling. Standley Lake has fourteen miles of trails within the park boundaries, three miles of accessible shoreline, prairie grasslands and spectacular mountain views.

Standley Lake also features a Nature Center where visitors can view animal displays, see Standley Lake historical photos, purchase passes and permits, obtain park information and visit our resident bull snake, Betty!

For visitors wanting to learn more about nature, the park and the wildlife, staff offers educational nature programs throughout the year for visitors and groups of all ages.

Additionally, our park naturalist can work with schools to create customized programs to fit into classroom curriculums.

Standley Lake Regional Park has a variety of venues and activities for you to host your next event.
