Town Hall

City Budget Town Hall - May 9, 2024

Join Mayor Nancy McNally, Mayor Pro Tem Sarah Nurmela, and the Westminster City Council for the inaugural City Budget Town Hall on Thursday, May 9 from 6 – 8 p.m. at City Park Recreation Center (10455 Sheridan Blvd.).

Through a series of small group exercises, residents will be able to share their thoughts directly with City Council and City leadership about investment priorities for our community. City staff will also provide an overview of our current budget and funding priorities.

Complimentary childcare will be offered on site for children ages 3 months to 11 years old on a first-come, first-served basis.

To accommodate the small group exercise, presentations will be livestreamed from 6 - 6:30 p.m. From 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., virtual participants will see a QR code and weblink to participate virtually in the small group exercises through an online survey. At 7:30 p.m. the meeting will resume, and virtual participants will be able to listen to the summaries of the small group discussions. Virtual responses will be collected and shared with City Council and City leadership after the event.

Community members will also be able to watch the meeting via the City’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. In the event of a technical issue, a full recording of the meeting will be posted on Facebook and YouTube following the meeting.
