Meal Information for Students and Families

Jefferson County School District

Beginning Wednesday, May 27, 2020, the current Grab and Go Meal Distribution Program will transition to the Summer Meal Service Program. Thanks to funding from the Jefferson County Commissioners, 11 sites for the Summer Program will be open.

Grab and Go meals will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday for collection between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Each service day, two lunches and two breakfasts will be provided at a curbside location. Parents or other caregivers may pick up meals for children.

Westminster Public Schools

Nutrition Services will provide breakfast and lunch for children 18 and under from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 19:

Adams 12 Five Star Schools

Nutrition Services will provide an opportunity for families to pick up lunch and breakfast through walk up or drive-thru meal service for children age 18 and younger. 

Meals will be served at the following locations from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday:

All families will receive lunch for the day and breakfast for the next. These meals will be available for all children ages 1 through 18 regardless of what school they attend. No paperwork is required. Meals will be provided to families even if children are not present. If you are sick, please send another family member to pick up meals.

This program will only be for the pick up of meals, and meals will not be consumed on-site.

Walk-up only locations:

Meals will be served in walk-up meal distribution on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at the following locations. Please see times listed for specific walk-up distribution times.

    • Coronado Hills Elementary, 8300 Downing Dr., Denver.
    • Federal Heights Elementary, 2500 W. 96 Ave., Federal Heights.

*Locations start meal service on Wednesday, May 27. 

All families will receive two lunches and two breakfasts per child. These meals will be available for all children ages 1 through 18 regardless of what school they attend. Adams 12 Five Star Schools Weekend Meals

Thanks to the support and generosity of Food for Hope in Thornton, pre-packed bags of food will be available for families at all pick up locations to be taken home for the weekend. Each bag will include (at minimum) two protein items, one vegetable, one fruit, one grain and two breakfast/snacks. Bags will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis and will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. on both Friday, March 20 and Friday, March 27. Limit one bag per family. All pick up locations will have these bags available for families on Friday.
