Utility Assistance

Due to the COVID-19 state of emergency, the city is offering water bill payment arrangements and assistance programs for those impacted financially by the public health crisis. Please contact the city by email at ubassist@cityofwestminster.us or by phone at 303-658-2392 to see if you qualify.

Westminster Water Bill Assistance Program

Almost Home offers utility assistance for families with children in Adams County. Visit the Almost Home website or call for an intake assessment at 303-659-6199.

The Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) can help pay a portion of winter home heating costs. Apply over the phone at 1-866-HEAT-HELP (1-866-432-8435) or submit an application online. 

Xcel Energy will not disconnect service to any residential customers until further notice. If customers are having difficulty paying bills, contact Xcel directly and they will arrange a payment plan that works for you.
