Council Candidate Information Session
Wednesday, May 29, 2019
6:30-8 p.m.
City Hall, Council Chambers

We cover everything from the Council/Manager government structure, to important election dates and legal requirements for running for office in the City of Westminster.  There is also a short "In Real Life" session, in which current sitting Council Members (not on the ballot) tell potential candidates what it's really like to run for office and get elected, and what the long-term time commitment they make with weekly meetings, study sessions, and community events really entails.  Finally, an open question and answer period with all members of City Council and Staff closes out the event.
