Earth Day/Arbor Day

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Learn about endangered species at FREE presentations provided by the experts. Come for one or all three. These presentations are appropriate for all ages and abilities.

11 a.m.-Noon    Nature’s Educators – live animal presentation
12:15-1 p.m.       Denver Zoo – live animal presentation (English & Spanish)
1:15-2 p.m.         Standley Lake Naturalist – “Back from the Brink” bald eagle presentation (Spanish & English)

Also - Enjoy an electric vehicle ride-and-drive event which will provide the opportunity to test drive different electric vehicles and learn about the benefits of driving electric!

City Park Recreation Center – circle drive

9-11 a.m. – Pick up ReLeaf Westy tree purchases – not weather cancellations

11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Talk to a Tree Guy – Bring your questions! What tree should I plant? What is EAB? How do I prune a tree?
Information handouts available

Equipment Demo – Check out the tree truck, bucket truck and large chainsaws and communication devices used by the professionals.

Kids Tree Climbing – Drop in and try it out – action is in the trees around the plaza.
