Special Permit and License Board

The Special Permit and License Board conducts public hearings, hears evidence and approves or denies special use permits. Acting as the local liquor licensing authority, it conducts public hearings for new liquor license applications and takes disciplinary action where violations occur. The board meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of the month on an as-needed basis. 

Due to the current COVID-19 emergency orders, the board will be holding virtual meetings. Parties of interest may provide comments using the following methods:
1. Email your written testimony to SPLBPubCom@cityofwestminster.us no later than noon the day of the hearing. 
2. Leave a recorded message to be played during the live public hearing at 303-706-3150 no later than noon the day of the hearing.
3. Sign up to speak - add your name to the list of speakers by emailing mbarajas@cityofestminster.us by no later than noon the day of the public hearing.
