Lindsey Emmons was elected to the City Council in November 2019.

Lindsey grew up in Westminster, near Sheridan Green Elementary, and in 2014 she purchased her first home not too far from where she was raised.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and a Master of Science in public communication and online technology, both earned from Colorado State University. Being employed with the Regional Transportation District since 2011, Lindsey is currently a manager of the bus stop/sign shop department. Prior to her career in transportation, Lindsey worked as a copy editor and page designer for Mile High Newspapers, interned for United Way of Larimer County, and in high school, worked for Jefferson County Open Space.

In her free time, Lindsey is an active Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer for Broomfield and Adams counties. She is an alumni member of Westminster Citizen’s Police Academy and a Westminster Business Chamber member. Lindsey is active in her church, and likes to participate in races such as the Rugged Maniac, the Urban Assault Bike Race and the Colfax Marathon Relay. She’s participated in multi-state events, running three half marathons and completed her first full marathon in San Antonio, Texas.
