  1. Why am I the most qualified person for this office? I’m a business owner/employer and community leader who’s recognized throughout Westminster as a sound, principle based decision maker. As a board member on five community organizations I’m engaged with residents throughout Westminster on a daily basis. I’ve heard your concerns and will make decisions on what’s good for Westminster.
  2. What is the most important issue facing Westminster and how will you address it? The goal of being the next urban center will lead to excessive density and congestion. We need varied housing options but our current direction will tax our infrastructure. Reasonable and measured growth with an emphasis on owned housing, of all varieties, will help maintain our suburban lifestyle and provide the right density.
  3. What do you think the city does well and where do you see room for improvement?: We have an outstanding staff who are dedicated to the Westminster S.P.I.R.I.T.

Why a need for change:

1.    When Council appointed three new members this year they violated the spirit of our City Charter and disenfranchised our citizens.
2.    In June, Council approved a new city department with a first year cost of $1.9 million dollars. Our priority should be on core services that directly contribute to quality of life in our city; competitive pay for Police, Fire, improvements to roads and infrastructure.
3.    Increasing water rates from 2018-2020 by an avg. of 46% has created an undue burden on households.
4.    Standley Lake Boating Ban - The process was and continues to be flawed. The City knew last fall about the 24 violators and waiting to publicly address the problem cost boaters and local businesses the 2019 season.

  1. What is your favorite thing about living in Westminster? When we moved here 28 years ago, my wife and I knew we had found a great place to raise our three children. Amazing neighbors, parks, trails, open space, family activities and a sense of belonging has kept us here.
