The Communications Division provides clear and effective communications about the City’s programs and services to our residents, media, and other key stakeholders. 

  • Communications promotes the City’s vision, mission, programs and services through a comprehensive set of tools and strategies designed to engage key internal and external stakeholders. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the advisor/liaison between the City’s leadership, City Council, and media to ensure our community has a clear understanding of the City’s core services 

  • Act as an information liaison between the media and the City 

  • Build awareness and support for critical programs and services in the community through the City’s communications channels including the website, blog, social media, emails, and print publications including the Westy Connection. 

  • Highlight our residents and businesses and share our community’s successes through the city’s communications channels.
