The City of Westminster promotes and encourages the use of Electric Vehicles and has installed multiple EV charging stations throughout the City. Residents and visitors can charge their electric vehicles for up to four hours at the following locations:

  • Downtown Westminster Parking Garage (8855 Eaton Street)
  • Westminster Station Parking Garage (6995 Grove Street)
  • Westminster City Hall (4800 W 92nd Ave)

Electric vehicle charging is currently available free of charge for users with a Chargepoint membership. This policy is subject to change to address customer demand and stations availability. Visit Chargepoint for more information on charging fees and creating an account.

The city received a grant from the Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) to install dual-port charging stations through a Charge Ahead Colorado grant. The RACQ is the lead air quality planning agency for the Denver Metropolitan Area and offers grants to local governments to reduce harmful air pollutants.

Residents and visitors can charge their electric vehicles at the Downtown Westminster (8855 Eaton St.) and Westminster Station (6995 Grove St.) parking garages. The charging stations are next to the elevators on Level 1 and Level 2 of the structure.
