Teen Volunteer Opportunities at the Library

The library welcomes young adult (ages 12-18) volunteers for a variety of short and long term projects. If you have any questions about library volunteer opportunities, contact Teen Services Librarians Kaela Delgado or Drey Deremo.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) (6 month+ commitment)

Last Tuesday of each month, 4:30-6 p.m., College Hill Room L167
Earn volunteer hours, build leadership skills, and improve your community as a member of the Teen Advisory Board. Drop-ins welcome. Attend a meeting to find out more. You'll need to complete an online Volunteer Application if you decide to become a TAB member.

Summer Reading Volunteer

Teens 12-18 can volunteer at the Westminster Public Library’s Summer Reading Program. Use people-skills and organizational abilities to register kids, hand out prizes, and perform other duties. Teens must commit to working scheduled shifts, and can earn between 10-30 volunteer hours. Training takes place in May each year. Submit an online Volunteer Application by April 28 for consideration.

Teen Library Volunteer-General

Short and long term opportunities; subject to availability. First, complete an online Volunteer Application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted if there is a project to work on.
