Council revises city’s vision statement
City Council recently completed a comprehensive process to review and revise the city’s vision statement so it better reflects their vision for Westminster.
The process included a community survey, virtual community focus groups and a City Council virtual business meeting in July.
The revised vision statement is: “We are a thriving community of safe neighborhoods and beautiful open space that is sustainable and inclusive.”
The city’s vision statement informs Council’s priorities, guides the day-to-day operations of the city and the implementation of priority projects. The city’s strategic plan achieves the city’s vision and directs staff in planning city projects and budgets to achieve the vision.
