In August 2014, Booco moved on to the position of Business Operations Coordinator for the General Services Department. His responsibilities included: departmental budget development and oversight; development of citywide benefit projections; facilitation of department related City Council actions; departmental strategic planning; and the coordination of business operations for the seven divisions of General Services.

In February 2016, Booco was promoted to the position of Fleet Manager. In this role, Booco was responsible for the management of the city’s fleet of equipment; leading fleet related sustainability initiatives; providing leadership to a division of 10 employees; and securing a stable and quality fuel supply for the city’s fleet.

From May 2017 to January 2018, Booco also served as the Interim General Services Director.

Booco holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. Booco is also a graduate from the City of Westminster’s “Leadership Development Program.”

"Booco has been an outstanding leader with the city and I’m thrilled to have him join the executive leadership team," said City Manager Don Tripp. "He brings a wealth of experience and energy from his previous roles within the city. We are very fortunate to have someone of his caliber to step in and bring his expertise to our team."
