Proposed new flight paths for regional airports

The Federal Aviation Administration is seeking public input on a report that will consider the potential environmental impacts for the proposed Denver Metroplex project. The Draft Environmental Assessment is available for review at 77 regional libraries and view the report online.

The project would entail changes in aircraft flight paths and altitudes in certain areas and aims to improve the efficiency of the national airspace system in the Denver area airspace by optimizing aircraft arrival and departure procedures at regional airports, including:

  • Centennial Airport (APA)
  • Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (BJC)
  • Denver International Airport (DEN)
  • Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL)
  • Greeley – Weld County Airport (GXY)

The public is invited to attend informational workshops where representatives will be available to answer questions about the project. View the workshop locations, times and dates.

Public comments may be submitted at a scheduled workshop, by mail or provide comments online.
