City works to keep community informed during COVID-19 public health crisis

In these trying times, we are all concerned about the health and safety of ourselves, our family and community.

The City of Westminster knows that right now, actions speak louder than words. This is why you don’t have to worry about receiving essential services from your city. We are here working for you.

You will continue to receive emergency medical services, public safety, safe drinking water and the infrastructure to support household needs and critical business functions, so you can feel safe staying at home and helping to “flatten the curve.”

The health and safety of you, your family and the community as a whole, and preserving economic resiliency are our main priorities.

In partnership with City Council, numerous local and state agencies, the medical community and many local organizations, the city has formed teams focused on the immediate needs of the community, supporting the business community and the continuation of essential services.

The city wants to keep you informed and there are many resources available at: www.cityofwestminster.us/COVID-19.

On Thursday, April 2 at 5:30 p.m., the city will host back-to-back, interactive livestream events on what city staff are doing during this time of crisis and on programs in our community to support local businesses.
