Great Global Cleanup - Saturday, April 25, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Join volunteers worldwide in a large-scale trash cleanup! Help celebrate Earth Day's 50th Anniversary by spring cleaning Westminster and Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District. Free cookout lunch for all volunteers includes music and a prize raffle. Trash bags and pickup of filled bags is provided. Please note that this event was previously known as Community Pride Day. Registration is required by April 9. Honor the Land & Streams - Saturday, Nov. 9, 8 to 11 a.m. Clean up our waterways and open space! Register today with friends and family to truly honor the land we hold dear. National Trails Day – First Saturday in June every year. This event has extraordinary potential and could be different every single year. National Trails Day gets people out on the trails doing any muscle-powered activity. National Trails Day is celebrated in all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico.
