Education/Literacy based activities

Bon Appétit-International Edition (4-6 years) 
Pack your bags and grab your passports—Bon Appétit is hitting the international scene! Kids will travel to a new destination weekly and enhance their cultural awareness through interactive games, art, music, and of course preparing simple yet ethnically diverse foods. If your child has food allergies, please call 303-658-2222 at time of registration. If your child requires an epi-pen or other medications due to any food/drink allergies, a parent/guardian must stay on site during class in case of emergencies.

Bon Appétit (4-6 years) 
Prepare and sample delicious recipes with a variety of cuisines and themes. Learn about the food pyramid, kitchen safety, and a variety of cooking skills. During the session, each child produces their own cookbook along the way. If your child has food allergies, please call 303-658-2222 at time of registration. If your child requires an epi-pen or other medications due to any food/drink allergies, a parent/guardian must stay on site during class in case of emergencies. Fee includes $15 materials fee.

Hola Niño’s (4-6 years) 
Grab your passport and join us as we travel into the fun-filled world of the Spanish language and culture. Our journey will include learning simple songs, games, colors, numbers, greetings, and days of the week. The session will end with a Spanish Fiesta! This class is only offered once a year, so sign up today!

Little Learners (4-6 years)
This class allows exploration and investigation of scientific concepts and beginning math skills. Each class engages children in a hands-on experiment while being introduced to basic STEM concepts. Each child will end the session with their own scientific notebook so they can continue to explore and experiment at home. This class is only once a year, so sign up today!

R is for Reading Readiness with Food Phonics and Animal Fun (3.75-6 years)
Embark on a fun-filled safari through the alphabet and beginning reading fundamentals using games, songs, stories, crafts, and recipes. Focus on letter recognition, phonics, picture reading, sight word introduction, and beginning reading comprehension skills. Class is progressive and consecutive sessions are recommended. 

Wee Toddlers (2-3 years)
Is your child ready to participate alone? Experience a play-based, nurturing environment where socialization, fine motor development, listening, and learning are introduced through play, songs, stories, and crafts. If your child is not toilet trained, a parent/guardian must remain on site. 
 

Art, Music & Movement Activities

Music for Families (1-5 years)
Parent participation required. Join Miss Stephanie for a fun morning of family music making! Children experience a music class that is age appropriate, while including younger siblings. Play a variety of exciting instruments, learn fun action songs and finger plays, while participating in many music and movement experiences in this fun and interactive class. Fee is per child.

Music for Tiny Tots (12-24 months)
Parent participation required. With a developmental focus, classes include bouncing, tickling songs, finger plays, exploring instruments, and movement to music, incorporating motor skills, listening, following directions, and social interaction. Watch your toddler learn and develop a love of music in this fun interactive class! Please do not bring additional children to class unless they are enrolled.

Music for Tots (2-3.5 years)
Parent participation required. Children discover a love of music through finger plays, action songs, movement to music, and playing a variety of fun instruments. This lively class incorporates motor skills, listening, following directions, and social interaction. Please do not bring additional children to class unless they are of age and enrolled. 

My Little Artist (3-6 years)
Do you have an artist at home? This fun, interactive class covers basic art techniques through various projects while covering basic color vocabulary and school readiness skills. The focus is on the creative process while allowing children to experiment and have fun. Paint smock and/or older clothes suggested. Summer class fees include $5 materials fee.

Tumbling and More! (1.5-5 years)
Expose your toddler to sports through an introduction to tumbling and physical activity basics. Tumblers will begin to develop school readiness skills such as listening, following directions and waiting in line, teaching them how fun learning can be.

Our instructors are not legally delegated to administer emergency or regularly scheduled medications during these classes. If your child has an allergy or medical issue that requires medication we ask that you please remain on site during their class time. We will make every attempt to accommodate allergy restrictions/dietary issues. Please notify us of these needs upon registration.
