Judge Tiffany Sorice

 

Presiding Judge

Judge Tiffany Sorice was appointed Presiding Judge in June 2017 after serving as Associate Judge from January 2016. From 2006 to 2016, she served as a prosecutor with the Adams and Broomfield County District Attorney's Office where she retired as Chief Trial Deputy District Attorney. Prior to that, she had her own law practice and served as a Public Defender for the State of Colorado. 

Judge Sorice received her Bachelor’s Degree in 1996 from the University of Tulsa and her law degree in 1998 from the University of Tulsa College of Law.  She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association, Colorado Women’s Bar Association and Colorado Municipal Judge’s Association.  She coached the 2016-2017 mock trial team at the Westminster High School and is a former chairman of the Board for non-profit Access Housing.  She lives in Westminster with her husband and four daughters.

 

Judge Candace Cline

 

Associate Judge

Judge Candyce Choi Cline was appointed Associate Municipal Court Judge in November 2017.  From 2013 to 2017, she served as a Deputy District Attorney with the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.  Prior to that, she was a law clerk to the now retired Chief Judge Roxanne Bailin of the 20th Judicial District and interned for Magistrate Judge Kristen Mix of the United States District Court in the District of Colorado.  Since June 2016, she has been a board member of the non-profit organization Access Housing, which helps families overcome homelessness.  Judge Cline is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the First Judicial Bar Association, Colorado Municipal Judge’s Association, and the Asian Pacific American Bar Association.

Judge Cline received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School in 2012.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, in Political Science from the University of Chicago in 2007. 

She proudly resides in the City of Westminster with her husband and daughter.
