Emergency and Essential Home Repair Program 

The Emergency and Essential Home Repair (EEHR) Program provides up to $5,000 in eligible home repairs to income-qualified, owner-occupied households located within Westminster city limits. The program provides repairs deemed essential to preserving the health, safety, and welfare of the home’s occupants. Eligible repairs may include, but are not limited to: plumbing, carpentry, electrical, furnace and hot water heater repair or replacement, accessibility improvements.   

The program is administered by two handyman programs serving the City of Westminster:

Jefferson County residents can apply for EEHR assistance through the Jefferson County Housing Authority at 303-403-5423. For more information, please visit the Jefferson County Housing Authority website

Funding is limited and applications are only accepted while funds are available.  The Emergency and Essential Home Repair Program is funded through the City of Westminster’s federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG).
