Floodplain Map
Flooding is a naturally occurring and cyclical process. In order to protect homeowners, Westminster does not allow new home construction in a floodplain. Some older homes, however, might be in a floodplain if located near a stream or creek. Even if you live in an older home and have never experienced flooding, there is still the chance it could happen.
