SHERIDAN REPAVING PROJECT
Each year we prioritize which roads to repave in Westminster based on their condition. On Sheridan Blvd. between 92nd Ave. and 96th Ave., we will grind off the top 2” of roadway, make any base repairs needed to the road, then repave Sheridan Blvd. with a 2” overlay and fresh striping and channelizing. Expect lane closures and traffic delays as crews work in this area. One lane in each direction of travel will be maintained at all times.
EXPECTED COMPLETION:
FALL 2022

SHERIDAN UNDERPASS PROJECT
The Sheridan Underpass will be a direct connection for walking and biking from the RTD 36 & Sheridan Station to Downtown Westminster. This tunnel underneath Sheridan Blvd. will give pedestrians and cyclists a way to continue their route without having to cross over Sheridan Blvd. The Underpass project also includes improvements to Sheridan Blvd. in this area, such as better traffic signals, energy-efficient lighting and improved medians for safety.
EXPECTED COMPLETION:
SPRING 2023

SHERIDAN WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

the sheridan waterline replacement project addresses concerns of age, condition, and capacity of the current waterline along sheridan blvd. between

72nd Ave. and 80th Ave. Replacing the pipe will improve reliability of water service, help reduce watermain breaks, and provide better water service to our South Westminster residents. This project is anticipated to excavate down along Sheridan Blvd. to access the old watermain and install a new watermain. When complete, the project will repave parts of Sheridan Blvd. and add fresh striping, supporting a smooth and safe driving experience.

expected completion:
