2022 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

**In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, Westminster's Office of Cultural Affairs continues to works closely with state and local health departments to ensure all 2022 special events are fully compliant with current public health mandates.**

Westminster History Tours Westminster History Tour

June 11, July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Meeting locations vary by tour

Jump on the bus and learn about Westminster History! 

This summer, you can learn about Westminster’s rich history, how the City is preserving community history and cultural assets, and how you can become part of a legacy of preservation. Attend one or all of these four stand-alone tours. Tours will be presented by members of the Westminster Historical Society and the City of Westminster’s Historic Landmark Board. $15 per ticket.

The Legacy of Church Ranch and Semper Farm in Westminster | August 13 | Departs from The MAC (3295 W 72nd Ave.)

This tour will start and end at The MAC. Come and discover the lasting legacy of Church Ranch and Semper Farm in Westminster. This tour will include stops at Church’s Stage Stop, Lower Church Lake Barn and Silo, and the Semper Farm. As the tour returns to Historic Westminster, learn more about historic properties on Lowell Boulevard. The tour coincides with the Around the World Street Fair being held on 73rd Avenue from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This festival will showcase the diverse cultures in our community.

Historic Northeast Westminster | September 10 | Departs from City Hall (4800 W 92nd Ave.)

This tour will start and end at Westminster City Hall. The tour will include time at the Savery Savory Mushroom Silo, Metzger Farm Open Space, and the Wesley Cemetery. At the conclusion of the tour, attendees will also have time to enjoy the many public art installations at the Westminster City Hall.

Westy Craft Brew Fest Westy craft Brew Fest

LOCATION CHANGE: Please note that the Westy Craft Brew Fest will now be held at Downtown Westminster (8855 Eaton St.) instead of the City Park Soccer Fields. Heavy rains have made the fields at City Park super saturated, making them vulnerable to damage. Ticket holders, please check your email for parking information and additional details. Thank you!

Holiday Lighting Ceremony  Holiday Lighting

Experience the magical wonderland of lights at the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Westminster City Hall, complete with holiday music, carnival games, food vendors, and of course, a visit with Santa! The full-size sleigh and kid-size train are perfect settings for family photos. Dress warmly—the event is mostly outside!
