Only 77 agencies in the United Stateshave achieved accreditation through theCommission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI) and the rating of ISO Class 1.
After a nearly four-year process, the Westminster Fire Departmentofficially received its internationally acclaimed accreditation status throughthe Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI ). While completing this process, the department also attained thehighest Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating that a fire and emergencyservice organization can achieve, ISO Class 1. Of the 266 accredited agenciesin the United States, only 77 agencies have achieved the top rating of ISOClass 1. Receiving this status marks an incredible milestone on the department’scontinued path to follow industry best practices and commitment to provideexemplary service to the community.
