Safety of our campers is our top priority.  Rest assured that we will follow all public health mandates and guidelines to mitigate the risks posed by COVID-19. To that end, here are the safety protocols we will follow:
·     Medical checks and temperatures will be taken for children and staff three times per day.
·     Campers will be organized in groups of 10 children with 2 leaders.  Every attempt will be made to keep the same children with the same two leaders throughout the summer.
·     We will adhere to all social distancing guidelines.
·     State child care guidelines on the handling of sick children and staff will be strictly followed. Sick children will be quarantined and required to be picked up within an hour of parental notification.
·     Regular hand-washing practices will be in place along with the frequent use of hand sanitizer throughout the day.
·     Families will be asked to send their child to camp with a face mask.  All staff and campers will be required to wear a face mask while at camp.
·     City staff will clean facility and equipment throughout the day.

With strict group size and social distancing guidelines, campers will rotate through a variety of activities over the course of day, including fitness classes such as Yoga and Zumba; enrichment classes designed around science, math, sign language, and writing; and arts and crafts.  In addition, campers will participate in virtual field trips (with guest speakers) and walking field trips when possible.
