W 88th Ave. Sewer Project

The warranty sewer pipe repair that closed eastbound West 88th Avenue between Eaton Street and Sheridan Boulevard is completed. Traffic control has been removed and traffic flow is back to normal.

Project Summary:

The City of Westminster’s contractor will be repairing a sewer pipe under warranty on W. 88th Avenue near Sheridan Boulevard. This project will help ensure reliable wastewater service for residents and businesses now and into the future.

Project Impacts:

There will be no impact to water or wastewater service during the warranty construction.

Eastbound W. 88th Avenue will be closed between Eaton Street and Sheridan Boulevard beginning October 21 through November 4 to complete this work.

Detours, temporary lane closures, and traffic control will be in place through the night and weekends for the public’s and the contractor’s safety and to limit construction duration.

Crews will be working during both weekdays and weekends. Most of the work will take place during the day but some work will take place at night. 

Speed limits will be reduced and enforced for public and worker safety.

Project Timeline:

The project will take about two weeks to complete beginning October 21 through November 4. Lane closures and detours will be in place throughout this time, including nights and weekends.

Project Notifications:

The contractor will post signage a minimum of ten days in advance notifying commuters of the upcoming construction. Nearby residents and businesses are being notified by postcard.
