Adventure Pass

The library's Adventure Pass program provides free access to explore cultural and recreational attractions in the community. Passes can be booked by anyone with a valid Westminster Public Library card, however, some reservations are age restricted.

Important changes to Pass Use

  • Registration processes vary by institution and additional registration steps for timed entry may be required. Please read the procedure for each attraction carefully, as library staff are available only during limited hours to provide phone support.
  • Not all attractions are available for booking at this time.
  • Reservations may be booked only two weeks in advance.

Where can I go with the Adventure Pass?

Butterfly Pavilion | TIMED TICKETS ARE ALSO REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: All guests ages three and above are required to wear a mask that covers the mouth and nose in the facility. See the Butterfly Pavilion website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass. Both print and digital versions of the pass are accepted. There are two passes available each day for the Butterfly Pavilion. Each pass is good for one free admission and will also admit up to four additional visitors for a discounted rate of $5 each. Pass must be presented at time of check-in. Pass may be used one time only. No other discounts may be used in conjunction with this pass. The Butterfly Pavilion is located at 6252 W. 104th Ave. Westminster, CO 80020.

Pass Procedure: 
Step 1: Find the date you would like to visit on the Adventure Pass calendar, and book it. Passes can be booked up to two weeks in advance. You will receive an email confirmation.Your Adventure Pass is only valid for the date reserved.
Step 2: After receiving your Adventure Pass email confirmation, call the Butterfly Pavilion between 9 a.m.-4:15 p.m. at 303-469-5441 to reserve timed entry tickets over the phone. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis for all members and guests. Time slots may be sold out. Tickets are non-transferable to another time slot at this time.
Step 3: Take a print or digital version of your Adventure Pass email and your timed ticket confirmation number to the Front Desk for check in. You will not be admitted without a timed ticket.


Clyfford Still Museum | TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE ALSO REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: Visitors will wear face coverings at all times while in the Museum and practice social distancing. See the museum website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass. Both print and digital versions of the pass are accepted. There is one pass available each day. This pass is good for free admission for two adults or one adult and one child under 18. Pass must be presented along with your Westminster Public Library card. The Clyfford Still Museum is located at 1250 Bannock St., Denver, CO 80204.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1: Find the date you would like to visit on the Adventure Pass calendar, but do not book it.
Step 2: Have the Adventure Pass site open and call the Clyfford Still Museum at 720-354-4880 to reserve a timed entry ticket for a specific 15 minute time slot on the day you have selected. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Time slots may be sold out.
Step 3: Once your timed entry tickets are confirmed, and you are still on the phone with the museum, return to the Adventure Pass website to complete your booking.
Step 4: Tell museum staff your Adventure Pass reservation is complete and they will email your tickets.
Step 5: Take your print or digital Adventure Pass confirmation, e-tickets and library card to the museum ticket desk.


Colorado State Parks | CAN ONLY BE PICKED UP DURING CURBSIDE SERVICE HOURS
(National Parks and National Monuments not included.)

Pass type: This is a physical pass which must be reserved and checked out by library location during curbside pickup hours and returned to the same library's book drop. Both College Hill and Irving Street have two (2) passes available for reservations. The pass is good for 7 days and allows entry for one vehicle. You may use it to visit multiple state parks while you have it checked out. Note: The CSP backpack and contents are not available at this time; you will only receive the hang tag pass. Patrons with fees exceeding $7 and patrons with Computer Use Only or temporary online cards are not eligible to reserve this pass. This pass will be quarantined between each use. Pass Procedure:
Step 1. Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2. On the date of your reservation, call the library location where you have reserved the pass to let staff know you are on your way. Staff will check out the pass to your library card.
Step 3. When you arrive at the library, call again. Staff will bring out the pass in a plastic case and place it on the curbside service table. You will find an Acknowledgement Form taped to the case.
Step 4. Please sign the form and return it to the book drop before you leave the library.

You have seven (7) days to pick up, use and return the pass. Please plan accordingly, enjoy your visit and be courteous to the next pass holder by returning the pass in its plastic case by the due date to the location where it was checked out. Pass can be returned to the book drop.


Denver Botanic Gardens | TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE ALSO REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: Visitors will not be allowed entry without adequate masks covering their mouth and nose, which must be worn at all times by adults and children 3 and over, except while eating or drinking. Please practice social distancing. See the museum website for hours of operation, special events closures, and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass. Both print and digital versions of the pass are accepted. There are two single-use passes available each day. Each pass is good for General Admission for up to six visitors. The pass is not valid for special events, tuition-based classes or separately ticketed events. Denver Botanic Gardens has two locations: York Street, 1007 York Street, Denver, CO 80206 and Chatfield Farms, 8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Road, Littleton, CO 80128.

Pass procedures:
Step 1: Find the date you would like to visit on the Adventure Pass calendar, but do not book it.
Step 2: Have the Adventure Pass site open and call the Gardens at 720-865-3500 to reserve a timed entry ticket for a specific 30-minute time slot on the day you have selected. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Time slots may be sold out.
Step 3: Once your timed entry tickets are confirmed, return to the Adventure Pass website to complete your booking.
Step 4: Take your print or digital Adventure Pass confirmation and e-tickets to Visitor Services.


Denver Firefighters Museum
Health and safety measures: Visitors (age 3 and older) are required to wear masks at all times during their visit, and social distancing precautions are in place. See the museum website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass. Both print and digital versions of the pass are accepted. The library has one pass per day. Each pass includes free admission for up to 4 visitors. The museum is located at 1326 Tremont Place, Denver, CO 80204.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1. Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2. Take your print or digital Adventure Pass confirmation to the ticket desk.


Denver Museum of Nature & Science | TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE ALSO REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: Visitors will wear face coverings at all times while in the Museum and practice social distancing. See the museum website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass that must be printed and taken to the ticket desk. Digital versions of the pass are NOT accepted. The library has two passes. Each pass includes free general admission for up to seven (7) visitors ages three and up. Visitors younger than three are free. Note: Pass does not include admission to special events. Denver Museum of Nature & Science is located at 2001 Colorado Blvd., Denver, CO 80205.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1: Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2: Once you have received an Adventure Pass confirmation, please call the museum 303-370-6306 to secure a timed ticket. You will receive an order number for the tickets. Take this order number with you to the museum.
Step 3: Print your confirmation.
Step 4: Upon arrival at the museum, take your printed Adventure Pass confirmation and ticket order number to the "Need a Ticket" line.


Dinosaur Ridge
Health and safety measures: Masks are required for visitors in indoor spaces too (including tour buses)! See the website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type:
This is an online pass that must be printed. Digital versions of the pass are NOT accepted. The library has one pass per day. Each pass is good for free admission for 4 people. Dinosaur Ridge is located at 16831 W. Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1: Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2: Print your confirmation.
Step 3: If you would like to do a bus tour, call 303-697-3466 up to seven (7) days in advance to reserve a seat.
Step 4: Take your printed Adventure Pass confirmation to the ticket desk.


Golf Westminster
Health and safety measures: Wear a mask, clean your hands often, and cover your coughs and sneezes. Visit the website to see hours and what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass that must be printed. Digital versions of the pass are NOT accepted. The library has one pass every day for up to 4 buckets of balls at either Walnut Creek Golf Preserve or Legacy Ridge driving ranges.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1: Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2: Print your confirmation.
Step 3: Take your printed Adventure Pass confirmation to the Golf Shop.


Molly Brown House Museum | TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE ALSO REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: All guests wear masks while at the museum and maintain 6 ft of distance between themselves and other guests/staff. All tours are self-guided. Bring your own headset and download a guide ahead of time. See the museum website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: This is an online pass that must be printed. Digital versions of the pass are not accepted. There is one pass each day that admits 4 people of any age. Molly Brown House Museum is located at 1340 Pennsylvania St., Denver, Colorado 80203.

Pass Procedure:
Step 1: Find the date you would like to visit on the Adventure Pass calendar, but do not book it.
Step 2: Call the museum 303-836-4092 ext. 13 to reserve timed entry tickets for that day.
Step 3: Once you have your timed entry ticket(s) confirmed, return to the Adventure Pass website to complete your booking.
Step 4: Print your confirmation.
Step 5: Take your printed Adventure Pass confirmation and e-tickets to the ticket desk.


Standley Lake Regional Park
Health and safety measures: If you use Standley Lake trails for walking, hiking, or biking, please continue to practice proper social distancing (maintain at least 6 feet from others and keep group size to 10 or fewer people). Pass type: This is an online pass. Both print and digital versions of the pass are also accepted. The library has one pass per day that provides free gate admission for one vehicle (no boating).

Pass procedure:
Step 1: Proceed to the Adventure Pass reservation system to reserve this pass.
Step 2: Present your print or digital Adventure Pass confirmation at the entry gate.


Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum | TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE REQUIRED
Health and safety measures: All guests are required to wear masks at all times during their visit and practice social distancing. Guest experiences are limited to 2 hours. See the museum website for hours of operation and current information on what to expect during your visit.

Pass type: Instead of the Adventure Pass, TIMED ENTRY TICKETS ARE CURRENTLY REQUIRED at both museums. Group size is limited to 4 people from the same household. Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is located at 7711 E. Academy Blvd., Denver, CO 80230. Exploration of Flight at Centennial Airport, 13005 Wings Way, Englewood, CO 80112, is also included in the Adventure Pass program. Visit the Exploration of Flight website to see hours, guest aircraft dates, and Weekend Showcases. Please note on the reservation form that you would like to visit Exploration of Flight instead of Wings Over the Rockies.

Pass procedure:
Step 1: Complete the Wings Over the Rockies Library Pass Ticket Reservation Request. When asked for library name, use Westminster Public Library. 
Step 2: After submitting this form, you will receive an email from the museum (within 48 hours) to gather additional details (if needed) and confirm your ticket reservation. This email will include your barcoded tickets. You MUST have a barcoded ticket issued from Wings to visit either museum.
Step 3: Take your barcoded ticket to the museum. Guests who arrive without a ticket will be asked to pay admission.

How often can I use the Adventure Pass program?

An individual library card can be used for each Adventure Pass venue once each 365 days.

What if ...?

  • I need to cancel?
    We understand emergencies happen. If an emergency arises and you are unable to use your pass, please email wpl-intouch@cityofwestminster.us or call 303-658-2603 during curbside hours. As the library is still closed and we are operating with limited staff, it may take up to 48 hours for a reply.
  • I did not print my pass?
    If you have a valid email address in your library record, a copy of the pass was automatically emailed to you. Email wpl-intouch@cityofwestminster.us or call 303-658-2603 during curbside hours if you can't find the email and we will resend it, or print a confirmation so you can pick it up at the library during curbside hours. As the library is still closed and we are operating with limited staff, it may take up to 48 hours for a reply.
  • I lose, damage or don't return the Colorado State Park pass?
    If the pass is not returned, a replacement fee of $50.00 will be assessed. Note: Accounts with fees of $10 or more will be sent to collection.
