Westminster Public Library offers a variety of story times each week for children birth through 6 years. Story Time activities vary by age group and might feature stories, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, music, movement, and crafts. Registration is not required.

- There will be no story times Aug. 5-17.

Baby Story Time: Birth through 18 months

Wednesdays, 9:30-10 a.m., Children's Program Room
Connect and learn with your little one. Books, songs, rhymes, and play make early learning fun. Best for babies not yet walking.

Toddler Story Time: 18 months through 2 years

Tuesdays, 9:45-10:15 a.m., Room L107
Wednesdays, 10:15-10:45 a.m., Room L107

Discover new books to read, songs to sing, and games to play to give your toddler a head start. Ideal for active walkers through 2 years old.

Music and Movement: 18 months through 3 years

Mondays, 9:30-10 a.m., Room L107
Sing, dance, play basic instruments, and move creatively.

Preschool Story Time: 3 through 5 years

Mondays, 10:15-10:45 a.m., Children’s Program Room
Thursdays, 10:30-11 a.m., Children’s Program Room

A fun-filled program that encourages curiosity, love of books and pre-reading skills. Parents are encouraged to attend and participate.

Friday Fun: 2 through 6 years

Fridays, 10:30-11 a.m., Room L107
Music, games, stories and play. Each week has a different theme and includes early learning concepts. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to have fun while developing beginning social skills.

Baby and Toddler Story Time (begins Aug. 20)

Tuesdays, 9:30-9:50 a.m.
Engage in stories, songs, and rhymes with your child while exploring letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and other early learning concepts. AGES: Birth through 2 years

Preschool Story Time (begins Aug. 20)

Wednesdays, 10-10:30 a.m.
Meet new friends and learn social and early literacy skills through stories, songs, movement, and make and take art. AGES: 3 through 5 years

Family Dance Party (begins Aug. 20)

Thursdays, 10-10:30 a.m.
Explore different styles of music through singing, dancing, and playing instruments at this high energy story time. ALL AGES

Little Explorers (begins Aug. 20)

Fridays, 10-11 a.m.
Play and engage with your little one by using books, sensory experiences and art to promote fun, learning, and creativity. AGES: 2 through 5 years
