Can you help us raise money for childhood cancer research?

Can you help us raise money for childhood cancer research?

Join the City of Westminster team as we raise money for childhood cancer research. Every year, thousands of men, women and children have joined the St. Baldrick’s Foundation by making a donation or shaving their heads to support childhood cancer research. This years event will take place on Sunday, March 11, from 1-3 p.m. at Salon StELLEr, 12034 Melody Drive.

This is the city’s seventh annual event in honor of former Mayor McNally’s grandson, Shea, who passed away in the summer of 2016 of neuroblastoma cancer at the age of 16. Each year the city has raised more than $16,000 (nearly $100,000 in six years) and this year we hope to raise even more.

Please sign up to join our team or make a donation and help us raise funds to fight the number one disease killer of children in the U.S. and Canada.

What does $232 million, 1249 grants, 27 countries look like? Since 2005, St. Baldrick’s has invested over $232 MILLION in childhood cancer research grants, worldwide. When you give to St. Baldrick’s, you don’t just give to one institution – you give to more than 373 institutions that are treating kids with cancer across the U.S. and beyond. View their funding map so you can see how your support has fueled research around the world.
