Blue pinwheels recognize child abuse

Blue pinwheels recognize child abuse

In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the City of Westminster is proud to support the Ralston House Pinwheel Garden fundraiser.

During the month of April, each $5 donation in support of children who have been subjected to child abuse will be acknowledged with the planting of a blue and silver pinwheel in one of the city’s pinwheel gardens (City Hall, City Park Recreation Center, City Park Fitness Center, West View Recreation Center, The MAC, Swim & Fitness Center, Walnut Creek Golf Preserve, and Legacy Ridge Golf Course).

This year, we’re offering the following donation incentives:

  • Donations of $35 will receive a certificate for a free round of golf at Legacy Ridge or Walnut Creek while supplies last.
  • For every $5 donation, donors will receive one entry into drawings for a ticket to the Westy Craft Brew Fest on July 27.

Donations will be accepted at each pinwheel garden location. Thank you for supporting Ralston House and the children in need of the compassionate services they provide!
