City facilities to expand capacity after moving to Level Yellow

City recreation facilities will continue to transition to 50% capacity under the new “Level Yellow” of Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s COVID-19 Dial 2.0.

The new dial, which went into effect Saturday, Feb. 6, is in response to the downward trend in COVID-19 cases and increasing vaccination efforts.

Please call the city recreation facility you plan to visit for more information or to make a reservation.

Face coverings are still required at all times while exercising and please practice social distancing when inside city facilities.

The MAC recreation facility will remain closed to the public until May as they are continuing to assist Growing Home with their food pantry operations.

For those interested in a deal on a recreation pass, the 2021 WestyRISE pass is still on sale for $39 per person and is valid through March 31. Guests who purchase the pass can book a facility or class reservation up to seven days in advance. Those without the pass would pay the drop-in rate of $6 per visit and can make a reservation five days in advance.

The restaurants at the city’s two golf courses, Heritage Grill and the Grill at Legacy Ridge, will transition to 50% capacity.

College Hill and Irving St. Libraries will continue curbside pickup of materials on hold and tax forms, in addition to computer use by reservation. Both library locations are planning to reopen for limited in-person browsing in the near future. Details will be shared when they are available.

City Hall and the Municipal Court are still closed.
