Stormwater team releases annual report detailing citywide projects

For the first time in the city’s history, the Stormwater team in the city's Community Development Department has developed a Stormwater Utility Annual Report. This 2018 report is intended to capture the work done by the city throughout different departments that is essential for the stormwater program’s success.

The annual report outlines how stormwater utility funds payed by residential and commercial stormwater fees are used to provide necessary environmental services to the city and its residents. Some of these services include, but are not limited to, drainageway maintenance, construction projects, routine asset maintenance (pipes, roadways, etc.), the 2018 drainageway study, the household hazardous waste program, stormwater mural projects and more.

This report shows how the stormwater fee on customers' bills is being allocated for maintenance and projects.

The Stormwater team would like to give a special shout-out to the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Department, Open Space Division, Public Works and Utilities Department, Geographic Information Systems Division, Utility Billing Division and Community Development Department staff for the assistance with developing this report.
