Trail Detours and Closures Near Big Dry Creek Park

Trail Detours and Closures Near Big Dry Creek Park

UPDATE: Construction continues in the area as of May 3, 2022. Neighbors and trail users can expect an additional 6-8 weeks of various closures and detours on Big Dry Creek Trail while crews complete work. Thank you for your patience during this time!

Beginning the week of March 14, trail users can expect several weeks of various closures and detours on the Big Dry Creek Trail near Big Dry Creek Park. Crews are working on sewer pipes in the area of 128th Ave. and N. Federal Pkwy. as part of the Big Dry Creek Sewer Improvements Project. Although the work does not involve digging, trail closures and detours are necessary for crews and equipment to access nearby manholes. Night work may also be necessary.

Thank you for following trail detour signs to maintain a safe distance from construction zones. These trail impacts are in addition to the detour in City Park near W. 104th Ave. and Sheridan Blvd. which remains in place.
