Knitting Sampler
Not sure if you'll be able to knit, or if you like it? Maybe you've never tried it or maybe you tried it once long ago and weren't successful, but you like to give it another go. Try this sampler class, taught by a very patient teacher who once thought knitting was beyond her reach. This is very small-group; 4 people maximum. We'll put needles in your hands, show you how knitting works, and help you decide if it's something you want to do. Instructor: Michelle Bowman

Knitting 101
Knitting is both fun and relaxing! It is a great way to develop eye-hand coordination, and it is also a wonderful way to develop focus, burn off some nervous energy, and knit away some stress. Plus, hand knit  items make great gifts! This class is for the complete beginner and also for someone who HAS tried to knit before and needs help. Learn the knit and the purl stitch, how to start a piece of knitting (cast on) and end a piece of knitting (bind  off). Class projects will be a sampler of knitting and some felt-able cup coasters. Some homework time (at least 10 minutes a day) will help the student be more successful. Instructor: Michelle Bowman
