IRRIGATION RENOVATION PROJECT
Walnut Creek Golf Preserve has started a planned irrigation renovation project.  The new system will irrigate more efficiently and allow us to continue providing the fantastic golfing conditions we are known for in Colorado!  This large-scale sustainability project will take several months to complete with work expected to last through the spring of 2023.  During this time, guests can expect changing course conditions, cart path only restrictions, along with hole closures and temporary tees for daily play.  We work closely with construction crews and make adjustments as necessary to ensure there is as little impact to play as possible.  We appreciate your patience, and will update this page with notices as they develop.

*Please anticipate full hole closures, temporary teescart path only restrictions, and changing course conditions during our irrigation project.  If there is a hole closure on the day of your play, a discount will be applied to green fees.  The scope of work will change daily as the project necessitates.

*Please call the Golf Shop 303-469-2974 for the most current operations status.

Certified Bronze Audubon International Signature Sanctuary

The Audubon International Signature Program is an environmental education and assistance program created to help landowners and managers to follow sustainable resource management principles in a comprehensive manner when developing and then managing properties. The program aims to add and integrate wildlife conservation, habitat restoration and enhancement, water conservation and water quality protection and other areas of environmental protection and improvement with the other objectives for new developments. The Signature Programs' long term goal is to foster a stewardship ethic that leads landowners and mangers, consultants and the community to consider environmental, rather than just economic, costs and benefits in their decision making and to apply these environmental values routinely in land management. Walnut Creek Golf Preserve became certified as the second of only two certified projects in Colorado on Oct. 30, 2002. The City of Westminster continues to maintain the facility at standards of the Signature Program.
