Growing Home's Food Pantry Needs

Non-perishable foods:

  • Canned vegetables - particularly corn, tomatoes, and mixed vegetables
  • Rice
  • Pasta
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Salsa or hot sauce
  • Canned beans
  • Canned fruit
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Canned soups
  • Canned tuna in water
  • Canned chicken

Hygiene kits/toiletries:

  • Kits can include (but are not limited to) shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, socks, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, etc.

Non- food items to keep the food pantry sanitized and to protect staff, volunteers, and visitors:

  • Surgical-type face masks
  • Disposable latex, vinyl, or nitrile gloves
  • Boxes for packing food for distribution to families
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Disinfecting wipes
  • Plastic zipper bags - quart and gallon
  • Reusable shopping bags
