Movies in the Park

It's better than going to a drive-in movie! Watch your favorite family movies on a giant, outdoor screen. Bring the whole family—it's FREE! Activities and food concessions begin at 7 p.m. and the movies start at dusk. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy the show!

Outdoor Theater: The Last Apple Tree

Take a musical journey through Westminster’s history during this immersive, outdoor theater experience! The Catamounts are pleased to present the world-premiere of The Last Apple Tree, an original, site-specific musical celebrating the legacy of one farm homestead in Westminster, Colorado. Audience members will travel in small groups around this farm, once owned by the Semper and Allison families, and now belonging to the people of Westminster. Through original vignettes and music, they'll also travel through time, celebrating how one piece of land can carry generations of memories and promise for the future. Apple cider (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options) will be available for purchase. Made possible with support from SCFD and NMAA. Tickets are $10/person. PURCHASE TICKETS.

Doggy Dive-In

Countryside Outdoor Pool is going the the dogs! Bring your dog for an end-of-the-summer swim. $5 per dog.

Running Thoughts

Saturday, Sept. 14      |      8 a.m. to Noon      |      Big Dry Creek Trail, College Hill Library
This zany relay race exercises the body and mind! Teams complete a 4-mile course while also composing a short story along the way. Runners are given fun prompts throughout the course and the winning tales will be published on the story boards along Westminster trails. REGISTER HERE.

Halloween Harvest Festival

Saturday, October 19      |      Noon to 8 p.m.      |      Downtown Westminster
This FREE, family-friendly event is bigger and better than ever! Bring the whole family to kick off the fall season with free carnival games, trick-or-treating, spectacular hot-air balloons, live musical performances by local bands, a beer garden, food trucks, arts and crafts from, jumping castles, local vendors, a bonfire and a BBQ competition. You can even pick out the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch! Presented by St. Anthony North Health Campus, with support from RE/MAX Alliance, Ascent Apartments, Scientific & Cultural Facilities District and the North Metro Arts Alliance.

Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Saturday, Dec. 7      |      5:30-8:30 p.m.      |      Westminster City Hall
Experience the magical wonderland of lights and the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony, complete with live holiday music, food trucks, carnival games, and of course, a visit with Santa! The full-size sleigh and kid-size train are perfect settings for family photos. Dress warmly—the event is mostly outside!
