Adult Egg Hunt

Back by popular demand! Not for the kiddos, this one-of-a-kind event includes egg hunts, an egg toss, egg races, the Outrageous Easter Bonnet Contest and signature themed cocktails! Remember, you'll want to leave the kids at home for this one—ages 21 and up only.

Earth Day/Arbor Day Celebration

Saturday, April 20      |      11 a.m. to 2 p.m.      |      City Park Recreation Center
Celebrate Earth Day and Arbor Day with live animal presentations, drop-in tree climbing for kids, ReLeaf Westy tree purchases, electric vehicle test drives, equipment demos, talks with the experts, and more! Free mulch will be available on site. Pick up tree purchases from 9-11 a.m.

Community Pride Day

Saturday, May 11      |      8-11 a.m.
Join over 1,000 volunteers to clean up trash and debris in parks and open space, and along trails and streets. Bags and pick-up of filled bags provided. This annual event is great for everyone—schools, churches, neighborhood groups, scouts, individuals, families and businesses. A free cookout is provided after the cleanup. Armed Forces Day Ceremony

Celebrate Armed Forces Day and honor those who serve our nation. The ceremony includes patriotic music, flag presentation, 21-gun salute, keynote speaker and reading of the names of all new brick honorees.

Father Daughter Ball

An enchanted evening awaits fathers and daughters at the annual Father Daughter Ball. The beautiful occasion includes dancing, desserts, a carriage ride, a photo and memories to cherish forever. This year's theme will be unicorns! Appropriate for children 3 years and older. Purchase tickets.

July 4th Celebration

Don't miss the best fireworks display in the north metro area! Get there early—activities, food and beer vendors, and performances start at 4 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks go off at approximately 9:15 p.m. There will be a FREE shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster—check back for a shuttle schedule and more information! Please note: grills, glass containers, personal fireworks and outside alcohol are not allowed at the event.

Latino Festival

The Westminster Latino Festival is a free, day-long celebration of Latino culture! At this year's festival, you will hear live music, learn about different types of dance, sample delicious food, see Luchadores, a low-rider car show, and more! 

Westy Craft Brew Fest

Taste unlimited 5-oz beer samples from over 50 regional breweries while enjoying live music, food trucks, and unparalleled vistas of the Front Range. Tickets are limited so you can enjoy the beer—not long lines!

Running Thoughts

Saturday, Sept. 14      |      8 a.m. to Noon      |      Big Dry Creek Trail, College Hill Library
This zany relay race exercises the body and mind! Teams complete a 5-mile course while also composing a short story along the way. Runners are given fun prompts throughout the course and the winning tales will be published on the story boards along Westminster trails.

Halloween Harvest Festival

Saturday, October 19      |      Noon to 8 p.m.      |      Downtown Westminster
This FREE, family-friendly event is bigger and better than ever! Bring the whole family to kick off the fall season with free carnival games, trick-or-treating, spectacular hot-air balloons, live musical performances by local bands, a beer garden, food trucks, arts and crafts from, jumping castles, local vendors, a bonfire and a BBQ competition. You can even pick out the perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch!

Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Experience the magical wonderland of lights and the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony, complete with live holiday music, food trucks, carnival games, and of course, a visit with Santa! The full-size sleigh and kid-size train are perfect settings for family photos. Dress warmly—the event is mostly outside!
