Pride of the Farm Outdoor Theater Series
Presented by The Catamounts

June 1-25  |    Wednesdays-Sundays   |   7 p.m.  |    Metzger Farm Open Space

Take a journey into local history by traveling through one of Westminster's original farm homesteads! Learn about the history of Metzger Farm during this immersive, interactive theater series. Tickets are $25/person. Beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic options) will be available for purchase.

Westminster History Tours
Learn about the places and events that have shaped our community! Tours will be presented by members of the Westminster Historical Society and the City of Westminster’s Historic Landmark Board.

Water – The Liquid Gold of the West
June 10  |  10 a.m.-1 p.m.  |  Westminster History Center, 7200 Lowell Blvd.

Learn about the role of water in Westminster’s growth as a community. This tour will include presentations and field visits to Church Ranch, Standley Lake and local ditches. 

Farms, Fruits and Pollinators
July 8  |  10 a.m.-1 p.m.  |  Westminster History Center, 7200 Lowell Blvd.

Explore the history of farming and fruit production in Westminster. This tour will include onsite visits of the Marion-Wilkins-Ward Barn and Windmill, Metzger Farm, a Westminster-based beekeeping business, and the Bowles House.

Wagon Trains, Trains, and Roads
August 12  |  10 a.m.-1 p.m.  |  Westminster History Center, 7200 Lowell Blvd.

Learn how transportation routes have shaped the fabric of our community. The tour will include a presentation about the Denver Kite Route and US 36 and onsite tours of local landmarks along this influential transportation route including Semper Farm and the Broomfield Depot Museum. 

Westminster University
September 9  |  10 a.m.-1 p.m.  |  Westminster History Center, 7200 Lowell Blvd.

Take in sweeping views and tour the grounds of Westminster University, the cemetery located on the site, and other historic landmarks along the eastern edge of Westminster.

 


Amore Italy
Saturday, June 10  |  5-9 p.m.  |  West View Recreation Center

Join us for a magical evening of Italian dinner and dancing! Enjoy live music by After Midnight.

Movies in the Park

It’s better than a drive-in movie! Watch your favorite family movies on a giant, outdoor screen. Bring the whole family—it’s FREE! Activities and food concessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and the movies start at dusk. PLUS, Cuisine with Cops will be joining each movie night—enjoy fun pre-show activities and food trucks! Bring your chair or blankets and enjoy the show!

Don’t miss the best fireworks display in the north metro area! Get there early—activities start at 4 p.m. Concert begins at 7 p.m. and the fireworks go off at 9:15 p.m. There will be a FREE shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster. Please note: grills, glass containers, personal fireworks and outside alcohol are not allowed at the event.
