**WEATHER UPDATE 5/21: Today's Armed Forces Day Ceremony will be held outside at the Armed Forces Tribute Garden, as originally planned. Please dress for the weather and join us as we honor those who serve in the armed services.** Celebrate Armed Forces Day and honor those who serve our nation. The ceremony includes patriotic music, flag presentation, 21-gun salute, keynote speaker, and reading of the names of all new brick honorees. Westminster's Armed Forces Tribute Garden honors those who serve in the armed services. Personalized, engraved bricks are available to all service men and women. Visit www.tributegarden.org.
An enchanted evening with a Butterfly Kisses theme awaits fathers and daughters (and other adult/child combinations) at the Father Daughter Ball at the Westminster City Park Recreation Center. The evening includes a horse-drawn carriage ride, dessert bar, dancing, and photograph. Age: 5 years and older. Fee: $25 per person.

The Catamounts will be joined by two lauded Colorado theatre companies–Buntport Theater and Su Teatro–in the presentation of original adaptations of public domain works in select outdoor spaces around Westminster Station Park. In six performances from June 10-19, 2022, each of the three participating companies will present a twenty minute adaptation of a public domain work. $20 per ticket.

Jump on the bus and learn about Westminster History!
This summer, you can learn about Westminster’s rich history, how the City is preserving community history and cultural assets, and how you can become part of a legacy of preservation. Attend one or all of these four stand-alone tours. Tours will be presented by members of the Westminster Historical Society and the City of Westminster’s Historic Landmark Board. $15 per ticket.
Heart of Historic Westminster | June 11 | Departs from The MAC (3295 W 72nd Ave.)
Enjoy a tour through the heart of Historic Westminster! This tour will start and end at The MAC. It will include a one-hour tour of the Bowles House Museum, highlights of historic properties along Bradburn Boulevard, and conclude on 73rd Avenue where participants will be able to experience Historic Westminster and its quaint shops, art galleries and the Vicky Bunsen Sculpture Garden.
Historic Farms of Westminster | July 9 | Departs from Wolff Run (4705 W. 76th Ave.)
Enjoy a vintage baseball game and learn more about historic farms in Westminster. This tour will start and end at Wolff Run Park. The tour will begin with the opportunity to enjoy a vintage baseball game featuring the Westminster Lightning Bolts and the Star Baseball Club of Colorado Territory. The tour will then depart Wolff Run Park to learn more and tour both the Schoenberg Farm and Semper Farm.
The Legacy of Church Ranch and Semper Farm in Westminster | August 13 | Departs from The MAC (3295 W 72nd Ave.)
This tour will start and end at The MAC. Come and discover the lasting legacy of Church Ranch and Semper Farm in Westminster. This tour will include stops at Church’s Stage Stop, Lower Church Lake Barn and Silo, and the Semper Farm. As the tour returns to Historic Westminster, learn more about historic properties on Lowell Boulevard. The tour coincides with the Around the World Street Fair being held on 73rd Avenue from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This festival will showcase the diverse cultures in our community.
Historic Northeast Westminster | September 10 | Departs from City Hall (4800 W 92nd Ave.)
This tour will start and end at Westminster City Hall. The tour will include time at the Savery Savory Mushroom Silo, Metzger Farm Open Space, and the Wesley Cemetery. At the conclusion of the tour, attendees will also have time to enjoy the many public art installations at the Westminster City Hall.
