Community Pride Day

Join more than 1,000 volunteers and clean up your city! Register with friends, family, scout troops, church groups, school clubs and other community members to pick up trash in your neighborhood. Armed Forces Day Ceremony

May 19            10 a.m.                          Armed Forces Tribute Garden
Celebrate Armed Forces Day and honor those who serve our nation. The ceremony includes patriotic music, flag presentation, 21-gun salute, keynote speaker and reading of the names of all new brick honorees. Westminster’s Armed Forces Tribute Garden honors those who serve in the armed services. Personalized, engraved bricks are available to all service men and women. The deadline to order personalized, engraved bricks for the 2018 ceremony is Thursday, Feb. 1. Order your brick online.

Summer Block Party

Kick off the summer with a good old-fashioned block party and movie—Westminster style! Bring the family for a FREE night of entertainment with fire truck rides, jumping castle, and dinner. Follow it up by watching The Princess and the Frog on a giant outdoor screen at dusk.

Imagine Westminster

This weekend-long project is a great way to learn about the historic Harris Park neighborhood and to become involved in your community! As the city's inaugural Imagine Westminster event, we will celebrate Westminster art, culture and history and explore what makes Westminster unique! On June 1, we will kick off the weekend with the Summer Block Party on 73rd Avenue, with lots of free, fun activities including carnival games, fire truck rides, and more! Stick around after the stars come out to enjoy a free screening of The Princess and the Frog. Then, head back out on Saturday to visit the Historic Westminster Jazz Festival, featuring jazz greats from Colorado and beyond, gourmet food trucks and dozens of vendors! The Imagine Westminster project will focus on shared community vision and the possibilities that neighborhoods hold for a thriving, walkable, sustainable future. Stay tuned as more details emerge!

Father Daughter Ball

Westminster Latino Festival

The Westminster Latino Festival is a free, day-long celebration of Latino culture! Holiday Lighting Ceremony

Experience the magical wonderland of lights at the annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony at Westminster City Hall, complete with holiday music, hot chocolate, cookies, and of course, a visit with Santa!
