Renew Checkouts

Online Renewals

You can renew materials online as long as they are not overdue, on reserve for someone else, or you already have fines of $7 or greater. 

  1. First, go to the Library Catalog.
  2. Click/tap on 'My Account'
  3. Enter your barcode and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number.) This will take you to your account overview.
  4. Click/tap on 'Checkouts'. A list of items checked out will display.
  5. Click/tap the box in front of the items you wish to renew.
  6. Click/tap 'Renew'. The 'Renewal Confirmation' screen will appear. Click/tap 'Yes'. The new due date should appear.

Phone renewals

Call the 24 hr. automated renewal line (Telemessaging) at 303-658-2658. Have your library card number and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) available.

Renew via the WPL in Touch mobile app (new and improved, February 2019)

  1. Tap on 'My Account' and then 'Sign In'.
  2. Scan or type your library card #, type your PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) and tap 'Login'.
  3. Tap 'My Account' again and then 'Checkouts'.
  4. Tap on the item you'd like to renew.
  5. Tap 'Renew'. As long as your fines and fees do not exceed $7 and there is not a hold on the item, you will see an 'Item renewed successfully' message .

Talk to a Person

Call either 303-658-2301 (Irving Street) or 303-658-2601 (College Hill) with your library card number. Pursuant to Colorado law, the privacy of a patron's library record is protected. Therefore, we are unable to provide information about a patron record without the library card number.
