2021 Westminster Civic Academy

Be informed. Be engaged. This 8-week program provides members of the community an opportunity to learn first-hand about the role of municipal government and get an inside look at city operations. Each session will entail a new interactive learning experience and will take place at a variety of city facilities, led by department subject matter experts.

Who can join?

  • Must be a City of Westminster resident or business owner.
  • Must be 18 years of age and older.
  • Must be willing to commit to attending one session per week for 8 weeks, plus graduation.
  • Participants are expected to display professional courtesy and respectful conduct to promote a positive experience for all.
  • Participants may not run for Westminster City Council during the program.
  • Class size is limited to 25.
